About South Carolina Crime Reduction Coalition

Our Mission:  

The South Carolina Crime Reduction Coalition (SC CRC) is a not-for-profit, public safety crime reduction organization, promoting safer communities by researching pre-release and post-release evidence-based policies and strategies for meaningful rehabilitation of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals. SC CRC members represent a wide range of organizations and concerned citizen, including law enforcement, members of the judiciary, state corrections and probation officers, neighborhood leaders, elected officials, formerly incarcerated, and service providers, working together to improve and implement successful community programs.
